AI Engineer

dotOcean is growing and we are hiring an AI Engineer to pioneer human-robot communication for autonomy. You'll build intelligent systems translating robot perception into actionable insights, define next-gen navigation for multi-agent systems, and develop real-time decision models for complex environments. Collaborate with engineers and defense partners to advance AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsabilities

• Develop AI solutions that enables communication between humans and autonomous agents using LLMs

• Facilitate the access and retrieval of data out of the data warehouse for a user by using their own natural language

• Design and implement AI algorithms that converts sensor perceptions into human-understandable information like text or speech.

• Define the next-gen swarming algorithms using the latest state of play in the AI world

• Use GANs for synthetic maritime image generation

• Applies Neural Radiance Field (NeRFs) for scene reconstruction or viewpoint reconstruction from other agents in the swarm for sharing knowledge about their perception.

Technical Competences

• Experience with OOP, advanced data structures, and algorithms in Python and C++ for high-performance AI models.

• Working with Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow/PyTorch for pattern recognition, predictions, and AI decision systems.

• Applying Transformers (BERT, GPT, T5) and GANs (StyleGAN, CycleGAN) for NLP, image generation, and domain adaptation.

• Developing and deploying AI models with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, MLflow/Kubeflow for scalable production implementations.

• Working with parallel computing (Python multiprocessing, Rust async), C++ optimization, and low-latency streaming for AI applications.
