As Product Development Manager you will lead the Product Development team and take ownership of our research and development activities, from early-stage concepts to prototypes, testing and implementation. You will combine strong technical insight with leadership and project management skills to set priorities, guide the team and ensure innovative ideas are translated into successful solutions. We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader who can see the bigger picture while staying close enough to the technology to challenge decisions, support the team and drive projects forward.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Product Development team, setting clear priorities and technical direction.

• Drive projects from concept and design to prototyping, testing, and implementation.

• Shape the Product Development roadmap and identify new technological opportunities.

• Manage priorities, resources, timelines and technical risks across projects.

• Support key technical decisions and complex engineering challenges.

• Work closely with the internal teams (Business Development and Project Management) and partners.

• Build a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration.

Experience and skills we are looking for

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Develpment, engineering, or a technology-driven environment.

• Experience in leading technical projects and/or engineering teams.

• Strong technical background; knowledge of software development or programming is a plus.

• A hands-on, pragmatic mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.

• Interest in autonomous systems, maritime technology, and innovation.

• Fluent in English.
